Dr. Melissa provides a balanced approach to Family Medicine. She uses conventional medicine, evidence-based natural therapies and acupuncture to help her patients achieve their health goals.

Educating patients about their health and the lifestyle choices they are making is an important part of Dr. Melissa’s practice.  She collaborates with patients to identify the underlying cause of their health issues and encourages them to play an active role in re-establishing good health.  Therapies are aimed at stimulating the vital force within each individual to encourage the body to heal.  Modalities commonly used include acupuncture, diet and lifestyle interventions, botanical medicines, and nutritional therapy.
